Established in 1981, the Cathedral Perpetual Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit public foundation dedicated to the long-term preservation of the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains. It is governed by an independent volunteer board and operates with a clear focus on stewardship, accountability, and long-term planning.
To ensure the Cathedral remains structurally sound, accessible, and preserved for future generations through sustainable financial stewardship.
Construction of the Cathedral was completed in 1838.
The Foundation was established in 1981 to create a permanent fund that would support the Cathedral's maintenance and long-term care.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation has contributed over $0.00 supporting essential maintenance and restoration.
